Job summary

Land O'Lakes, Inc. is seeking a production teammate for 2nd shift in Texas. You will operate machinery and assist in packaging, following safety protocols and SOPs to deliver high-quality products for Purina Animal Nutrition.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and adaptability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Qualifications include at least 18 years old, 1+ year of work experience, basic math/computer skills, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1 year or more of work experience in any industry.
• Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful.
• Preferred: 1+ year of manufacturing work experience.
• Preferred: Machine operation and/or forklift experience.

Job description

SHIFT:2nd Shift 2:30pm-11:00pm / 4:30pm-3:00am / 6:00pm-6:00am
PAY: $22.30/hour + $1.00/hour 2nd shift differential
In this role, you will be a key member of our Land O’Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, performing front-line production processes that add value and quality to the inputs and creation of final high-quality products. You will gain skills and experience of taking raw materials to produce our final products for customers. This will include operating machinery and equipment, packaging the final product. This role is part of our Purina Animal Nutrition business who serves producers and animal owners throughout the United States. We innovate nutritional products and practices that unlock the full potential of every animal for a healthier, more productive life.

Key Responsibilities

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
• Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present
