Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Cedar Rapids is seeking a Bag Cook for 3rd shift (Mon-Fri, 9:30pm-6:00am). Operates in a 3-shift food manufacturing plant and handles soups, kettles, and packaging lines with emphasis on safety and quality.

You will follow recipes, monitor viscosity, and ensure sanitation and HACCP compliance as part of a collaborative production team. Ideal candidates are reliable, able to lift 50 lbs, work under pressure, and communicate clearly.

• Quality (Verify product quality, item numbers, weights, HAACP checks).
• Safety (follow all required safe work practices – i.e. PPE, JSA).
• Other duties as assigned.

Plant Overview:

· 3-Shift Operation

· Non- Union Facility with approximately 200 hourly staff members which are a mix of temporary and full-time associates.

· 100% Food Service, 4 bag soup lines, 1 tub line, 18 Kettles, 5 Filling lines, and 4 packaging lines.

· Products include Frozen Soups and Macaroni & Cheese
