Badging Coordinator
Key Responsibilities;
Badge Services
  • Print and issue access badges for Amazon employees, contractors, vendors, and other authorized personnel.
  • Assist customers with new badges, replacement badges, damaged badges, expired credentials, and other badge-related needs.
  • Verify required identification and authorization prior to issuing credentials.
  • Ensure badges are accurately printed and issued to the correct individual.
  • Maintain accountability for unissued, returned, and replacement badges.
  • Deactivate or collect badges when required by established procedures.
  • Provide clear instructions regarding badge use, security requirements, and site access procedures.
  • Maintain an organized and professional badge office/work area.
Access Provisioning
  • Provision physical access for authorized personnel based on approved access requests.
  • Add, modify, and remove access permissions in applicable access-control systems.
  • Verify that appropriate authorization has been received before provisioning access.
  • Ensure access is provisioned accurately and in accordance with the individual's role, location, and approved requirements.
  • Process access changes, transfers, temporary access, and other approved requests.
  • Identify discrepancies or unclear requests and coordinate with the appropriate stakeholder before taking action.
  • Promptly remove or modify access when directed by authorized stakeholders or established procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records associated with access provisioning.
Customer Service
  • Serve as a primary customer-facing point of contact for badge and access-related services.
  • Provide a professional, helpful, and positive experience to employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Respond to questions regarding badges, access permissions, and site access procedures.
  • Clearly explain processes and requirements to customers.
  • Assist customers in resolving routine badge and access issues.
  • Maintain professionalism when handling high-volume periods, frustrated customers, or time-sensitive requests.
  • Protect customer privacy and confidential information at all times.
Coordination & Communication
  • Coordinate with Security, Human Resources, Recruiting, Workplace, Facilities, hiring managers, vendors, and other stakeholders regarding access requirements.
  • Communicate outstanding or incomplete access requests to the appropriate parties.
  • Escalate unusual, unauthorized, or unclear access requests to Security Management.
  • Support special events, onboarding activities, and large-scale badge issuance efforts.
  • Maintain clear communication with Security personnel regarding badge and access-control concerns.
Documentation & Accountability
  • Maintain accurate badge and access-control records.
  • Follow established procedures for badge inventory and accountability.
  • Document access requests and completed provisioning activities as required.
  • Assist with routine badge reconciliation and administrative reviews.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Amazon security policies and site-specific procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee, contractor, and security information.
Required Qualifications

  • Experience working with security or facilities teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience working with ticketing, access-management, or identity-management systems.
