Job summary

Elanco is seeking a Bacterin Operator to perform aseptic production, inoculation, and final filtration of bacterial antigens in a controlled environment. The role requires attention to aseptic technique, calibration, and adherence to manufacturing directions.

The position involves operating automated equipment, performing setup and troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment and inventory. Overtime may be required, with lifting up to 60 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to perform calculations involving weights, volumes and percentages.
• Proficient with general computer use and adapting to new software/systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform aseptic production and fermentation activities in the Bacterin area.
• Operate automated and semi-automated antigen production equipment.
• Set up and troubleshoot production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Maintain equipment and inventory for Bacterin processes.
• Follow SOPs and Manufacturing Directions to ensure quality and safety.
