Job summary

Elanco is hiring a Production Operator - API to join its poultry vaccine manufacturing team. You will prepare, execute, and turnover production steps, including centrifugation, filling, and lyophilization, while adhering to SOPs and safety procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with supervision, plus accurate documentation and use of SAP to stage materials. Shift is Mon–Fri, 7am–3:30pm, in Winslow, ME.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Centrifugation, concentration processes, and filling operations (product emulsification, liquid filling, lyophilization).
• Process and equipment preparation and cleaning/disinfection including washing, wrapping, and sterilizing glassware and equipment; loading/unloading autoclaves; disinfecting surfaces and equipment.
• Ensuring materials (chemicals, consumables, etc.) are available.
• Use of electronic systems (e.g. SAP) to stage materials.

Your Role: Production Operator - API

The Production Operator is responsible for preparing, executing, and cleaning/turnover of production processes in poultry vaccine production. All tasks are performed in accordance with internal and external guidelines.

Your Responsibilities:

• Centrifugation, concentration processes, and filling operations (product emulsification, liquid filling processes, lyophilization)
• Process and equipment preparation and process cleaning/disinfection activities including w ashing, wrapping, and sterilizing of glassware and equipment, l oading/unloading autoclaves and d isinfecting room surfaces and equipment.
• Ensuring appropriate number of materials (chemicals, consumables, etc.) are available
• Use of electronic systems (e.g. SAP) to stage materials

What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks with moderate to limited degree of supervision.
• Ability to perform duties according to established SOP's, production records and company safety procedures.
• Complete training on time to maintain a current and up to date learning plan.

• Understands and practices proper aseptic technique and biosecurity measures
• Ability to concurrently completes documentation and follows established protocols

Additional Information:

Shift: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm

Must maintain procedural conformance during all production hours including and not limited to weekday and weekend operations. This may include notifying supervisors/support staff via phone/email/teams to escalation findings of product non-compliances or equipment failures.
