Job summary

Clemens Food Group in Tyrone, PA is seeking skilled Machine Operators for the 1st shift to operate, set up, and maintain production machinery, ensuring safety, quality, and efficient output in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform routine maintenance, monitor performance, record run data, and collaborate with team members to meet daily goals while adhering to Lockout/Tagout procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and enter data in English.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Lockout/Tagout certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery safely and efficiently to maintain output.
• Perform routine maintenance including blade changes, setup, cleaning, and equipment takedown.
• Monitor and adjust machines to meet product specifications, maximize quality, and improve yield.
• Complete accurate production records including weight sheets, label verifications, run times, and man-hour logs.
• Follow all Lockout/Tagout and safety procedures at all times.
• Assist with directing workflow and collaborating with team members to achieve daily production goals.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of product specifications, profitability, and machinery operations.
