PF Changs China Bistro is hiring a Backwaiter to support restaurant operations by delivering food promptly, assisting with dining room cleanliness, and maintaining service stations. All team members must provide excellent customer service to ensure guest satisfaction.

The role requires standing, lifting up to 30 lbs, and strong multitasking in a fast-paced team setting, with pay of $2.13/hour plus tips and benefits for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess or obtain a Food Handler’s Card where applicable.
• Ability to stand, reach, bend, balance, and lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
• Strong multitasking in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Excellent communication; stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests efficiently and meet requests.
• Monitor expo line, run trays for dine-in, assist guests with questions.
• Clear and sanitize tables, seating, and floors per standards.
• Retrieve and transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing station.
• Restock and clean service stations as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment and POS systems.
• Interact courteously with guests and notify managers of concerns.
• Follow policies, dress code, and safety procedures.
• Assist greeting, seating, phones, and takeout packaging when needed.
• Assist with beverage prep and responsible alcohol service when required.
