Job summary

PF. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. is seeking a Backwaiter to support restaurant operations by delivering food promptly and courteously while helping maintain dining room cleanliness and service stations.

You will provide excellent guest service, assist with greeting and seating, handle takeout packaging when needed, and support beverage preparation as required in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess or obtain a Food Handler’s Card where applicable.
• Stand, reach, bend, balance, and lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
• Strong multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests efficiently and address requests.
• Monitor expo line and run trays for dine-in, assist guests with questions.
• Clear and sanitize tables, seating, and floors per standards.
• Retrieve and transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing area.
• Restock and clean service stations as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as coffee machines, iced tea machines, and POS systems.
• Interact courteously with guests and report quality or service concerns to managers.
• Follow company policies, dress code, and safety procedures.
• Assist with greeting, seating guests, answering phones, and packaging takeout orders when necessary.
• Support beverage preparation and responsible alcohol service when required.
