Job summary

Johnsonville Sausage, LLC is seeking a committed production team member at our Countryside facility. You will manufacture sausage products, work with a team to hit safety and efficiency goals, and operate line equipment with opportunities to back up multiple units as needed.

Position Facility: Countryside

Position Overview

Pay Range: $24.60/hr

Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday-Friday (Overtime as production demands)

• Ability to learn and grow to become skilled to operate either a machine on a daily and/or weekly basis in a back-up capacity
• Ability to document job responsibilities and be part of writing and maintaining DPS programs for new equipment
• Excellent attendance and performance record
• Necessity and ability to learn and share learning with others
• Ability to work in other production line/rooms within the facility when this specific line is not running production is required.
• Willing to learn Sanitation responsibilities
• Ability to work in a machine operator back-up role in addition to the primary role of Trayer/Packer
• Machine Operator roles will consist of Stuffer, Grinder, or Casepacker
• Ability to use and troubleshoot basic SAP functions on a hand-held scanner and on the computer

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to pass a pre-employment, post offer drug screen, physical and background check
