Job summary

Spotlight Events, Inc. is seeking versatile Stage Team Members to manage backstage flow, awards preparation, and ceremony coordination during Spotlight and LEAP events in Eagle, Idaho.

You will collaborate with Announcers, Sales Associates, and staff to ensure a seamless experience for dancers, clients, and attendees. The role combines organizational precision with the ability to create a positive, engaging environment backstage and on stage, with regular travel during the event season

Qualifications

• Background in dance, theater, or performing arts (Preferred).
• Teaching or performance experience helpful.
• Familiarity with awards coordination or customer-facing event roles (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Direct the performance order and collaborate with the Announcer to maintain show flow.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to dancers, parents, and studio staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in backstage and dressing room areas.
• Foster positive relationships with clients while creating a relaxed backstage environment.
• Prepare and organize awards for ceremonies throughout the weekend.
• Facilitate awards presentations, distributing trophies and recognition on stage.
• Assist with show flow and collaborate with Sales Associates during peak times, supporting merchandise sales and attendee satisfaction.
• Teach short jazz combinations to dancers of all ages on stage, engaging both participants and audience members.
