Job summary

Plum Market in New York is seeking Receivers to handle back-door receiving, verify product against packing slips, and maintain a clean backroom. You will ensure product integrity and safety while supporting a fast-paced retail environment.

You will provide exceptional customer service, work with a diverse team, and help sustain a culture focused on natural, organic, local, and specialty foods. The role requires physical ability and availability for varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Six months minimum Team Member experience in the industry.
• Basic receiving product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Model and provide exceptional Customer Service.
• In charge of back door receiving, using available technology and manual receiving processes for all product going in and out of the building.
• Keeping the back door secure, only authorized individuals may enter or exit.
• Uphold Plum Market’s quality & receiving standards.
• Maintain an organized receiving and back of house area, including but not limited to store supply management, receiving dock, baler, bottle return and compactors.
• Follow and comply with health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
• Effectively communicate with Customers, Team Members and Store Leadership.
