Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Stores Associate at Homesense in Wilmington, NC to execute receiving, merchandising, and customer service responsibilities. You will help maintain a clean, organized store and train Associates on processing principles.

You will engage customers, promote safety and store standards, and support daily operations to ensure a smooth flow of goods to the sales floor. Prior retail experience and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience
• 6 months of leadership experience
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Executes receiving and merchandising standards and ensures efficient processing of merchandise onto the sales floor
• Creates a positive customer experience and maintains a clean, organized store
• Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles
• Coordinates with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure smooth flow of goods to sales floor
• Monitors productivity and coaches team members as needed
• Maintains backroom organization and safety standards
• Promotes safety, labor compliance, and loyalty programs
• Contributes to shrink reduction goals and customer service excellence
