Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a role at HomeGoods in Shirley, NY. You will execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure efficient processing, maintain an excellent customer experience, and work as part of a team to keep the store organized and safe.

You will train Associates on merchandising, monitor productivity, and collaborate with management to address priorities. Experience in retail and leadership is valued. Flexible scheduling is required.

Qualifications

• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail

• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Orchestrates truck delivery, prioritizing the processing of merchandise onto the sales floor
• Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles
• Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
• Communicates with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to sales floor
• Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and signage standards
• Maintains all organizational, cleanliness and recovery standards for the backroom area
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned
