Job summary

TJ Maxx in Kent, WA is seeking a team member to execute receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring associates process efficiently, and deliver an excellent customer experience. The role maintains a clean, organized store and provides hands-on coaching to peers.

You will train associates on merchandising principles, secure proper tagging, and coordinate with leadership to optimize product flow while upholding safety and loss-prevention standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing directions.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Orchestrates truck delivery and prioritizes merchandise processing
• Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles
• Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured and coded
• Maintains store cleanliness and backroom organization
• Supports safety, labor policies, and loss prevention efforts
