Job summary

TJ Maxx in Dayton, part of the TJX Companies, is hiring a retail associate to support receiving, merchandising, and customer service across our store. You will help maintain clean, organized displays and contribute to a strong customer experience daily.

The role requires at least 1 year of retail and 6 months of leadership experience, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and at least 6 months of leadership experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards while ensuring efficient processing by Associates.
• Engage with customers to provide an excellent experience and maintain store cleanliness.
• Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Organize back stock, ensure tagging and signage accuracy, and support flow of goods to sales floor.
• Monitor team productivity and coach as needed; adhere to labor laws and policies.
