Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Daly City is hiring an associate to execute receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring an excellent customer experience, and maintaining organized store operations.

You will train Associates, manage backroom stock, and uphold safety and loss-prevention programs while supporting management on priorities. This role requires flexibility for nights/weekends and the ability to lift heavy objects.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Able to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Able to train others.
• Able to respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations.

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure efficiency.
• Provide an excellent customer experience by engaging customers and keeping the store clean.
• Organize and rotate back stock for replenishment.
• Tag, hang, secure, and code merchandise accurately.
• Communicate with management to ensure smooth flow of goods to sales floor.
• Support management on priorities and adherence to safety and labor policies.
