Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Driver, Dedicated Backhaul to support its nationwide food distribution network. You will operate tractor-trailer or straight trucks on local and interstate routes, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with DOT regulations.

You will interact with customers professionally, perform load checks, and complete required paperwork. The role requires a CDL-A, 21+ years old, a clean MVR, and the ability to lift product weights up to 90 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license and DOT Health Card.
• Must be 21+ years of age and able to pass drug test and background check.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years; able to pass road test.

Responsibilities

• Drive assigned routes via local and interstate schedules, including layovers.
• Deliver loads to PFG warehouses or customer locations on time and in good condition.
• Complete load paperwork, invoices, and quality checks accurately.
• Communicate with supervisor about route, load, and schedule issues.
• Secure equipment and submit all required documentation at shift end.
