Job summary

InCheck is seeking an Investigations Specialist I to support the Investigations Department in Milwaukee. The role focuses on managing background check report workflows, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high quality of service for internal staff and external customers.

You will communicate with candidates by phone and email, interact with vendors and court clerks, and apply client-specific guidelines to reports. A High School diploma with 1–2 years of related experience is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years related experience.
• Experience in background screening or a legal environment preferred.
• Ability to read court terminology and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage criminal background check report workflow and activity.
• Communicate with candidates by phone and email to ensure timely completion of reports.
• Coordinate with vendors and court clerks to obtain case information when needed.
• Prepare routine reports and inform clients upon completion of reports.
• Identify discrepancies and ensure reports are complete and accurate.
