Job summary

ByteCubed is seeking an experienced Back-End Tester to join our fast-growing IT firm in Arlington, Virginia. The candidate will work on-site and must be a US Citizen due to federal government client requirements.

The role involves collaborating in Agile environments, managing defects, and implementing automation strategies. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and at least 3 years of testing experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of testing experience for software, web applications, and/or mobile.
• Proven track record of testing SaaS and PaaS solutions.
• Experience in planning, documenting, and reviewing test cases.

Responsibilities

• Actively involved in release planning and estimate test efforts.
• Collaborate and test in an Agile development environment.
• Analyze and communicate test results to team and manager.

Skills

Testing experience for software and web applications

Ability to write basic SQL queries

Strong time management skills

Experience with automation scripts

Analytical and troubleshooting skills

Expert at QA methodologies and tools

Education
