Jobgether is seeking a backend engineer to design, develop, and scale reliable APIs, build integrations with external services, and own cloud infrastructure using AWS. You will collaborate with founders, product managers, and engineers to convert business needs into scalable technical solutions across geographies.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of backend engineering or related technical role.
• Strong Python skills for designing scalable services and APIs.
• Experience with MongoDB or comparable NoSQL databases.
• Experience with AWS cloud services, backend infrastructure, and DevOps practices.
• Proven ability to build, deploy, and maintain backend systems, including greenfield projects.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs for scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Familiarity with testing, QA processes, and analytics frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Interest in mentoring others and growing into a leadership role.

Accountabilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and scale reliable backend APIs to support business and product requirements.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of professional experience in backend engineering, systems development, or a related technical role.
• Strong proficiency in Python for backend development, including designing and maintaining scalable services and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB or comparable NoSQL database technologies.
• Practical experience with AWS cloud services, backend infrastructure management, and DevOps practices.
• Proven ability to build, deploy, and maintain backend systems, with experience developing systems from scratch considered a strong advantage.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and designing systems for scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies, quality assurance processes, and analytics frameworks.
• Frontend development knowledge is an advantage, particularly for collaborating across the full technology stack.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to connect business requirements to technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the initiative to take ownership, work effectively across teams, and contribute to technical decision-making.
• An interest in mentoring others, improving engineering practices, and growing into a leadership position as the organization scales.
