Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience developing REST APIs and working with Spring Boot or a comparable framework.
• Familiarity with one relational database and one NoSQL database.
• Familiarity with Git, Linux, software testing, Agile delivery, and the software development life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services, REST APIs, and microservice-based applications in Python and/or Java.
• Design data access layers for PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable code with SOLID principles and proper error handling.
• Create unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews and production support.
• Containerize and deploy using Docker and CI/CD pipelines across cloud/Linux environments.
• Use Git, Maven, Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman, and Jira for development, testing, and delivery tracking.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams and communicate tradeoffs and risks.
