• The engineer will collaborate with product, business, quality, and data teams to convert requirements into reliable, maintainable solutions.
• Experience in Python and Java, REST APIs, microservices, relational and NoSQL databases, modern web technologies, cloud platforms, Linux, Docker, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services, REST APIs, and modular or microservice-based applications using Python and/or Java.
• Design data access layers and integrations for PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, or comparable databases.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable code using object-oriented design, SOLID principles, defensive validation, and appropriate error handling.
• Create unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews, defect resolution, release readiness, and production support.
• Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and CI/CD pipelines across cloud or Linux environments.
• Use Git, Maven, Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman, and Jira to support development, documentation, testing, and delivery tracking.
• Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams and communicate technical tradeoffs, delivery risks, dependencies, and progress.
