Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Software Engineer II to independently develop and contribute to a customer- and associate-focused product. You will join a dynamic team, tackle production applications, and help design, deploy, and monitor services.

The role emphasizes GoLang backend API development, cloud skills in GCP, and modern debugging with dashboards and alerts. 2+ years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Experience in GoLang and backend API development is required.
• Experience with Grafana/Prometheus and Google Cloud Platform is preferred.
• Experience in SQL and relational databases; familiarity with NoSQL is a plus.
• Experience with front-end tech (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript) and React is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Java and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work in a distributed, Agile environment.
