Job summary

Lyft is seeking an engineer to join the Airports team, driving real-time airport integrations and dependable experiences for drivers and riders. You will collaborate across teams to tackle unique travel challenges, including managing real-time airport communications and ensuring our tech integrates with airport operations.

The role emphasizes collaboration, coding with Python and Go, and delivering scalable features for millions of travelers.

Qualifications

• BS/MS or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–5+ years of software engineering/production infrastructure experience.
• Experience with Python, Go.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming.
• Experience with data structures or algorithms.
• Ability to work with a low-ego, highly collaborative, cross-functional team.
• Bonus points: open-source projects.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco area is $128,000 - $160,000, not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location.
