United States Digital Space LLC in San Francisco is seeking a software engineer for our Airports team to build reliable, real-time systems that keep travelers moving smoothly.

You will collaborate across teams, own features end-to-end, participate in code reviews and on-call rotation, and help shape scalable solutions for airport operations. The role is hybrid, with in-office days and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• BS/MS or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2-5+ years of software engineering/production infrastructure industry experience.
• Proficiency with Python and Go.
• Experience with OO programming.
• Familiarity with data structures or algorithms.
• Ability to work in a low-ego, collaborative team.
• Bonus: open-source or side projects.

Responsibilities

• Drive high-impact projects and innovate new solutions to provide the best user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Drive high-impact projects and innovate new solutions to provide the best user experience.

• Lead large features from idea to positive execution and launch

• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge

• Participate in our teams on call rotation. Identify, triage, debug and resolve issues/bugs across our various applications and platforms

• Have the ability to explain the various trade offs made in decisions

• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

Experience:

• BS/MS or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent practical experience

• 2-5+ years of software engineering/production infrastructure industry experience

• Experience with Python, Go

• Proficiency in object-oriented programming

• Experience working with data structures or algorithms

• Ability to work with a low-ego, highly collaborative, and cross-functional team

The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco area is $128,000 - $160,000, not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location.
