Job summary

Artifintech is seeking an experienced Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services. You will work on RESTful APIs and microservices using FastAPI, Flask, or Django, and collaborate with teams across the org.

You will optimize SQL/NoSQL data stores, implement asynchronous processing, and participate in CI/CD, security practices, and production deployments. Strong Python and cloud experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Python 3.x, OOP, data structures, exception handling, and concurrency.
• Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Strong understanding of Microservices architecture.
• Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB is a plus.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with messaging/event platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS is preferred.
• Strong understanding of software development, lifecycle and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend applications using Python.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Develop clean, reusable, maintainable, and well‑tested code.
• Work with frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Integrate applications with databases, third‑party APIs, and enterprise systems.
• Design and optimize SQL queries and database operations.
• Implement asynchronous processing and event‑driven solutions where required.
• Troubleshoot performance, production, and integration issues.
• Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
• Work closely with frontend developers, architects, QA, DevOps, and business teams.
• Participate in CI/CD, Agile/Scrum ceremonies, and production deployments.
• Follow secure coding, logging, monitoring, and application performance best practices.
