Job summary

You will collaborate with product, business, quality, and data teams to translate requirements into reliable, maintainable solutions. Proficiency in Docker, CI/CD and databases is required for successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, building, testing, deploying and supporting scalable software applications.
• Proficient in Python and Java with REST APIs, microservices, and modern web technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services, REST APIs, and modular or microservice-based applications using Python and/or Java.
• Design data access layers for PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, or comparable databases.
• Write clean, testable code with OOP, SOLID, validation and proper error handling.
• Create unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews and releases.
• Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and CI/CD pipelines in cloud or Linux environments.
• Use Git, Maven, Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman, Jira for development, testing and delivery tracking.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams and communicate technical tradeoffs and progress.
