Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional Python backend development.
• Experience building RESTful APIs with Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
• Strong PostgreSQL knowledge and SQL optimization.
• Familiar with async processing and distributed systems.
• Experience with Git, code reviews, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Exposure to AI integrations (MCP) is a plus.
• Security: OAuth 2.0, JWT.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend apps and APIs in Python.
• Build RESTful APIs with Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries.
• Integrate with internal/external systems with secure auth and logging.
• Implement async processing and distributed workflows (Temporal, Airflow, Celery).
• Enable real-time communication via WebSockets/Socket.IO.
• Write unit and integration tests with Pytest or unittest.
• Collaborate via Git, PRs, code reviews.
• Support Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for deployment.
• Adopt OAuth2, JWT, and microservices security.
• Explore MCP AI-driven workflow automation.
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and deliver quality solutions.
