FreeWheel, a Comcast company, is seeking a Backend Python Developer in Chicago to design, develop and integrate backend solutions that support business needs. You will contribute across the SDLC, participate in code reviews, and help maintain high engineering standards within the team.

You will collaborate with teammates to deliver reliable software, improve system performance, and ensure scalable ad tech services for publishers, advertisers, and media buyers on a global platform.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in Python backend development.
• Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Responsabilidades

• Write and maintain efficient Python backend components following best practices.
• Support design and development of new software aligned with business goals.
• Implement unit and integration tests to validate software quality.
• Document design, deployment, and integration procedures for knowledge sharing.
• Analyze integration needs and plan system architecture to meet specs.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure applications meet requirements and performance targets.
