Job summary

FreeWheel, a Comcast company, is seeking passionate Senior Software Engineers to design, build and support our high‑quality video advertising platform. This role is based in New York and involves end-to-end software development, cloud infrastructure on AWS, and containerized deployments with Kubernetes.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with global teams, and continually improve system performance and reliability while staying current with AWS services and modern containerization

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 3–5 years of work experience in software engineering or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of C/C++ or Go and network programming.
• Experience with large-scale online services and distributed systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Construct and optimize the ad delivery infrastructure for high concurrency, availability, and low latency.
• End-to-end software development and deployments; support software updates and releases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements and translate them into designs.
• Document designs, evaluation plans, tests, and technical reports; mentor junior engineers.
