Job summary

KorTerra, Inc. seeks a Software Engineer to join the Product Development team in Minnesota. You will build and enhance C#/.NET back-end services powering a cloud-first, multi-tenant SaaS platform.

You will work with AI-assisted development using Claude Code and a spec-driven approach, contributing to API design, databases, and cloud deployments on Azure, with a hybrid onsite schedule in Chanhassen. The role emphasizes collaboration, testing, and reliability, offering growth and hands-on

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional backend development.
• Proficient in C# and modern .NET, including ASP.NET Core (.NET 8+).
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL database knowledge.
• Experience with Azure, containers, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on use of AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Copilot, etc.).
• Able to read/write technical specs and work in Agile/Scrum.
• Excellent problem solving and communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support back-end services and APIs.
• Collaborate with product owners and DevOps to deliver features.
• Write clean, tested code with CI/CD pipelines.
• Review AI-generated code for correctness and safety.
• Improve AI tooling and patterns used by the team.
• Troubleshoot production issues and monitor system health.
