Job summary

Product Pulse is seeking a Backend / Full Stack Engineer with 2+ years of backend experience to join a fast-moving team building financial infrastructure that handles billions in nonprofit payments. You will own systems end-to-end, from design to production, working directly with founders and leadership in a high-autonomy environment.

Strong opinions, clear communication, and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Experience at Capital One-tier or faster, preferably a VC-backed startup.
• Owned and built scalable backend systems end-to-end.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.

Responsibilities

• Build and own backend server applications and components powering the payment platform end-to-end.
• Contribute to architecture decisions across APIs, backend systems and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with founders, product, and engineering through technical debates and design reviews.
• Improve real-time monitoring and alerting to understand user behavior and drive product iterations.
• Tackle a wide range of engineering projects across the platform, avoiding silos.
