Nostavia is offering a Backend Engineering Intern – Health Data Integrations, a remote 6-month internship focused on building and maintaining third-party API integrations using Python, data pipelines, and automated tests for high-stakes enterprise clients.

You will work directly with the founding team, use PostgreSQL, Docker, and AWS, and produce clean, production-ready code with thorough technical docs for stakeholders.

• Strong practical Python programming fundamentals.

• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON processing.
• Knowledge of Data Structures and relational database queries using SQL.
• Comfortable with Git workflows and Linux/command-line environments.
• Hands-on experience using Claude Code to accelerate development, refactor code, and deliver robust solutions.
• Ability to work independently and maintain high engineering standards.
