Job summary

Ramp is seeking backend engineering interns for 12- or 16-week co-ops in NYC, solving challenging technical problems and shipping products used by real customers. You’ll work with experienced engineers and own projects from inception to production.

You’ll be valued for strong fundamentals, ownership, and quick learning, even if you’re new to our stack. Expect to build scalable systems and collaborate with product and business teams to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in CS or related field.
• Strong CS and programming fundamentals.
• Track record of building and shipping high-quality projects.
• Ability to turn ambiguous problems into engineering solutions.
• Desire to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build backend systems powering Ramp’s products.
• Own meaningful projects from design through launch.
• Solve problems across payments, risk and data stacks.
• Collaborate with product and business teams to understand customer needs.
• Contribute to engineering tools and systems to scale Ramp.
