Rove is seeking a Software Engineer to build the backend and travel infrastructure behind our platform and the AI concierge that helps members plan, book, and earn miles.

You’ll own supply aggregation, fast search, tool-driven AI features, and end-to-end integration across NestJS, Next.js, React Native, Postgres, Redis, Temporal, AWS, Stripe, Claude.

Collaborate across teams to ship reliable systems with monitoring and safe money flows, while moving fast in an early-stage startup environment.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of TypeScript experience with deep backend depth.
• Built and shipped production systems people depend on.
• Integrated and scaled many third-party APIs with latency and rate-limit considerations.
• Built LLM features or agents used by real users with tool calling, prompts, and evals.
• Think in failure modes: retries, timeouts, idempotency, and safe fallbacks.

Aufgaben

• Build supply aggregation bringing inventory from multiple providers into one platform.
• Improve search speed via caching, parallel requests, and smart timeouts.
• Develop the AI concierge end-to-end (agents, prompts, APIs, web, iMessage).
• Design reliable agent tools with real prices, availability, and safe booking flows.
• Create browser agents for tasks like reservations and loyalty tasks.
• Own quality and performance with tracing, monitoring, and fixes.
• Collaborate across NestJS, Next.js, React Native, Postgres, Redis, Temporal, AWS, Stripe, Claude.
