Job summary

Access Search, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer for the BP&A team in Chicago, IL. This role focuses on back-end development, automation, and scalable analytics tools supporting finance, trading, and middle-office operations.

You will collaborate with global teams to design data pipelines, dashboards, and BI solutions, automate workflows, and improve data processing and system performance. Eligible for a discretionary bonus; immigration sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, or a related quantitative field.
2–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong back-end development skills with Python and SQL.
Experience working in cloud-based and containerized environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate with global teams in a fast-paced trading environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain back-end applications and business intelligence tools.
Build scalable data pipelines, dashboards, and visualization solutions.
Automate workflows and optimize data processing and system performance.
Partner with finance, trading, operations, and BI teams to deliver technical solutions.
Support database development, system integration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
