Job summary

Robotics Technologies LLC seeks a Software Engineer with hands-on experience in Python and/or Java, REST APIs, and microservices. You will design, implement, test, and deploy scalable backend services in an Agile environment, collaborating with product, QA, and data teams.

The role emphasizes SDLC practices, containerization with Docker, and CI/CD, with opportunities to work across relational and NoSQL databases.

Qualifications

Experience designing REST APIs with Spring Boot or a comparable framework.
Approximately 4 years of software development experience.
Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases, Git, Linux, testing and the software development lifecycle.
Ability to troubleshoot issues, work independently, and collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities

Design and develop backend services, REST APIs, and microservices using Python and/or Java.
Develop database integrations using relational and NoSQL databases.
Write clean, maintainable, testable code with appropriate validation and error handling.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, code reviews, debugging and production support.
Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with product, QA, business, and data teams to deliver reliable software solutions.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and communicate technical risks, dependencies and delivery progress.
