Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Working knowledge of at least one programming language including Java, Scala, or Python.
• Experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or containerization technologies like Docker.
• Familiar with designing and validating API contracts and service interfaces, including REST, RPC, or asynchronous messaging patterns.
• Knowledge of CI/CD workflows, such as Gitlab CI, and automating builds, testing, and controlled deployments.
• Experience in observability practices, including metrics, structured logging, or distributed tracing instrumentation.
• Ability to diagnose and debug software issues using logs, system metrics, or profiling tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and system components using object-oriented languages.
• Implement data processing workflows using Apache Spark for business analytics.
• Develop high-performance and scalable data access layers.
• Implement and maintain cloud-native services deployed on container orchestration platforms.
• Design and validate API contracts and cross-service communication patterns.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliable software delivery.
• Instrument applications for observability to improve system insight.
• Diagnose and resolve software defects or performance issues.
