Job summary

Staff Software Engineer will design and maintain scalable backend data pipelines and RESTful services to support large-scale content catalogs and metadata processing.

You will collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers, optimize data storage, and contribute to architecture decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field and five years of experience in software development or related role.
• Experience with Python, Java, or Scala in production environments.
• Experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend data pipelines for large-scale content catalog and metadata.
• Develop and optimize high-throughput data processing workflows.
• Design and implement secure, scalable RESTful APIs to expose data services.
• Architect data integration solutions across heterogeneous sources ensuring data consistency.
• Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to integrate models and pipelines.
• Implement monitoring, observability, and reliability for data pipelines.
