Job summary

Press Ganey is seeking a backend software engineer to build features within an AI-enabled engineering workflow powering the Hyperlift Stars Platform. You will collaborate across product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software that leverages AI to accelerate development, testing, and debugging.

You will contribute to API and database design (PostgreSQL) and help ensure robust deployment and post-release support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
• Professional experience in backend software development
• Ability to deliver features with quality under guidance from senior engineers
• Enthusiasm for learning and staying current with tools and technologies
• Drive toward delivery of quality products

Responsibilities

• Develops features and modules in Elixir/Phoenix and/or Python/Flask
• Leverages AI tools to speed implementation and testing
• Contributes to database design (PostgreSQL) and API development
• Owns features end‑to‑end from implementation to deployment
• Writes unit/integration tests to validate behavior
• Participates in peer code reviews and collaboration
