Job summary

Roger Healthcare invites software engineers to join a rapidly growing AI platform focused on delivering life-changing care to home health clinicians. You will scale core backend services, build Generative AI-driven workflows, and connect to LLM models to power real clinical workflows.

The role emphasizes Python backends, FastAPI, MongoDB or Postgres, and deploying with Docker on AWS. You’ll collaborate with senior engineers to ship reliable, secure systems while improving observability and code

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Solid backend fundamentals, preferably in Python (APIs, databases, basic system design).
• Familiarity with Docker, cloud platforms (AWS), and building production-grade services.
• Interest in Generative AI and LLM-powered workflows with hands-on experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship backend services using FastAPI with MongoDB or Postgres.
• Help build APIs and infrastructure that connect to LLMs and Generative AI models.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to move faster while keeping quality high.
• Turn early prototypes and MVPs into reliable, secure production systems, with guidance from senior engineers.
• Contribute to better observability, testing, and code quality across our backend.
• Deploy and run services with Docker and AWS.
• Pair with senior engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and real production work.
