Job summary

Stripe is seeking Backend Engineers to build and maintain APIs and services powering money movement at a global scale. You will help extend our balance management platform and new funds accessibility features, collaborating with infrastructure, product, and security teams.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years to 12+ years of experience, strong collaboration and autonomy, and comfort with cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, GraphQL, and gRPC. This role is on-site in Seattle, WA.

Qualifications

• 2–12+ years of software engineering experience with backend systems.
• Strong skills in API design and integration.
• Experience building scalable, distributed services.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially AWS.
• Comfort with container-based deployments and microservices.
