Backend Developer (m/f/d)

The role:

• Coding Excellence:Develop backend solutions with precision and finesse, ensuring high-quality and maintainable code
• System Operations:Oversee and manage system operations to ensure smooth performance and reliability of our services
• Collaboration:Work closely with our DevOps team to streamline deployments, enhance monitoring, and improve incident response mechanisms

About you:

• Technical Proficiency:At least 2 years of experience in backend development (Python, Golang, or similar) ideally in a fast-paced, agile working environment
• Operational Expertise:Experience in system administration and operations, including managing hosted servers, microservice architecture, and applications (both web and mobile)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes: You have extensive knowledge of working with Docker and are proficient in using Kubernetes for container orchestration and management
• Proficient with REST APIs and Git: You are skilled in designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and are confident in using Git for version control and collaboration
• Experience with PostgreSQL (or other relational databases): You have experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and are familiar with their optimization and management
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments: You are experienced with CI/CD practices and have worked in cloud environments ((preferably DigitalOcean, AWS, or similar)
• Experience with message queues (e.g., NATS, Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a plus
• Team Collaboration:Strong ability to work within a team environment, contributing to collective problem-solving and knowledge sharing.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English (C1 level). Good German skills are a plus.
