Job summary

Responsibilities

• Формирование технического направления и дорожной карты Core Backend, создание общих сервисов и инструментов
• Выявление повторяющихся проблем и создание повторно используемых решений
• Проектирование и развитие общих возможностей бэкенда, включая событийно-ориентированную архитектуру и защиту данных
• Разработка внутренних инженерных инструментов: каталог сервисов, реестр API, платформа SLO, инструменты AI
• Рукводство сложными инициативами от этапа discovery до внедрения и валидации в продакшене
• Сопровождение интеграций и миграций, сбор обратной связи и улучшение инструментов
• Практическая работа на Go, тестирование производительности и устойчивости, обеспечение наблюдаемости и восстановления
• Повышение стандартов через архитектура-ревью, технические решения, наставничество и документацию

Its flagship offering lets shoppers split payments online and in stores without interest or fees, while partner businesses use its payment solutions to support growth and customer loyalty. Задачи

• Shape the technical direction and roadmap of Core Backend by building shared services, libraries, and developer tools
• Identify common challenges across teams and develop reusable solutions that improve developer productivity, system reliability, and security
• Design and evolve shared backend capabilities, including event-driven communication, application-level encryption, and sensitive data protection
• Develop internal engineering tools, including a Service Catalog, API Registry, SLO platform, and AI-assisted development tools
• Drive complex initiatives from discovery and design through implementation, rollout, and production validation, coordinating across engineers and teams
• Work with teams using the tools to understand their needs, support integrations and migrations, and guide improvements using feedback
• Work hands-on with Go, validate performance and failure scenarios, and build observability and recovery mechanisms into shared systems
• Raise engineering standards through architecture reviews, technical decisions, mentoring, and documentation that enables others to own and extend shared systems

• 7+ Years of backend engineering experience, including building and operating production systems at scale
• Strong Go experience and a track record of hands-on work in senior technical roles
• Deep expertise in distributed, high-load systems
• Proven ownership of complex initiatives from design through production, including architecture and technology decisions with lasting impact
• Strong understanding of quality, security, observability, and operational excellence
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and contributing to product development
• Ability to influence decisions across teams and explain technical topics clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience mentoring engineers and raising technical standards across a team or organization
• Strong English and a proactive, autonomous approach to ambiguous problems
