Job summary

Relay is hiring a Solving Engineer to design and own the price-quote engine, route trades across on-chain and off-chain venues, and fulfill user requests end-to-end. You will impact fill rate, latency, and profitability of the solver business.

You'll own multi-stage pipelines, build DEX integrations, and improve reliability with observability. This remote-first role emphasizes collaboration and ownership across the Solving Team.

Qualifications

• Experience building systems that interact with on-chain protocols.
• Proficient in TypeScript and backend engineering.
• Ability to own multi-stage pipelines end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Design and iterate the solver's core quote-generation and pricing engine.
• Build integrations with DEXs and aggregators, including swap calldata.
• Develop observability tooling and reliability workflows.
• Collaborate with Protocol team to integrate settlement primitives.
• Create features for payment use cases and fixed pricing on majors.
