Job summary

Cato Networks is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join the Threat Prevention team. You will tackle architecture and engineering challenges across inline and out-of-band security, collaborating with engineers to accelerate development cycles using AI technologies.

Responsibilities include designing and implementing high-scale services, researching new technologies, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade security products.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend development experience using Java, Go, Spring Boot, and GQL.
• Experience building and operating SaaS microservices with high scale and load in production.
• Experience testing services in CI/CD environments.
• Ability to cope with basic frontend tasks.
• Degree in Computer Science from a known university or equivalent.
• Motivated, fast learner, independent, and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Work on Cato’s highest-profile security products and architecture.
• From design through implementation of enterprise-grade, high-scale services.
• Research new technologies and adapt them for use within the products.
• Collaborate with multiple teams—development, product, automation, SRE, DevOps.
