Job summary

Entegrata is seeking a Backend Engineer to build and improve core services of our Azure‑based data lakehouse platform. You will design APIs, data services, and integrations, collaborating with senior engineers, product, and customer teams in a fast‑moving environment.

You will contribute to CI/CD, optimize performance and reliability, and ensure security and compliance. The role offers flexible remote work and a culture focused on impact and growth in the legal-tech SaaS space.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of backend software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in one or more of Go, .NET, or Node.js.
• Experience building and consuming REST or similar APIs.
• Solid SQL and data modeling fundamentals.
• Familiarity with a major cloud platform (Azure preferred), Docker, and CI/CD.
• Experience writing secure, well-tested, maintainable code.
• Preferred: data lakehouse or analytics platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, or Microsoft Fabric).
• Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code exposure (Pulumi or Terraform).
• Legal technology or enterprise SaaS background.
• Event-driven or streaming architecture experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs for the data platform.
• Develop and optimize data integrations that bring firm data into the lakehouse.
• Write clean, well-tested, secure code aligned with legal-industry compliance requirements.
• Improve performance, scalability, and reliability of platform components.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Collaborate across engineering, product, and customer teams on technical alignment.
