Rotto is an AI search engine for recruiting in New York City. You will own the backend that builds crawlers across thousands of career pages and runs a live, plain-English prompt–driven ranking of millions of candidate profiles.

We move fast, with equity and daily collaboration with the founders and engineering team in person in New York. This ASAP role starts within weeks and requires hands-on ownership of production systems.

Qualifications

• Built and run web scrapers in production (prefer job boards).
• Scaled cloud infrastructure in production.
• Able to optimize latency while controlling cost.

Responsibilities

• Develop scrapers pulling jobs from thousands of pages daily.
• Implement PostgreSQL-based ranking for candidate profiles.
• Design cloud infrastructure for cost and latency efficiency.
