Job summary

Krew is seeking a (Human) Member of Technical Staff specializing in backend engineering in San Francisco. You will design and build backend APIs and services powering our AI agents and operations tooling, and ship features end-to-end from data model to API.

You value high-quality code, strong testing, documentation, and collaboration with design, risk/compliance, and ops. You will help improve reliability, observability, and performance across the stack, and contribute to evolving engineering

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of full-time professional backend or full-stack experience.
• Experience with Python and Go.
• Strong testing, reviews, and documentation habits.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend APIs and services powering AI agents and operations tooling.
• Ship features end-to-end from data model to API to UI.
• Improve reliability, observability, and performance across the stack.
• Collaborate with design, ops, and risk/compliance to ship safe, compliant features.
• Write tests, enforce code quality, and participate in design/review discussions.
• Help evolve engineering standards and product development process.
