Rain is hiring a backend-focused engineer in New York to help drive the technical roadmap and integrate diverse services. You will scale infrastructure to serve millions of users and ship new capabilities rapidly, while shaping architecture for a rapidly evolving product.

The role requires 2-10+ years of experience with NodeJS and backend tech, and a builder mindset with a track record of experimentation. Flexible work arrangements and a competitive compensation package accompany this role.

• Experience with NodeJS and other backend technologies

• This position is for folks with 2-10+ years of experience, compensation will be based on experience

Nice to have, but not mandatory

• Fintech experience (neobank or card issuing experience gets extra brownie points)
• Experience with smart contracts and blockchains

Compensation Range: $170K - $240K
